I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend, and is ready for another long, chilly week!
I had an awesome weekend, especially Friday!

Today however, I am feeling quite in the dumps. I don't know why...nothing too out of the ordinary happened, I got some weird news from a friend over the phone that got me thinking about another friend of mine.

Also, I've been really thinking about the past today. For a few reasons, possibly. But, throughout the course of the day I've had a couple flashbacks to a couple years ago, and even just last year/last summer. Some are very happy, some are sad.
Both leave me crying.

Maybe I just need some sleep. Have a great Sunday, everyone. I love you all and keep breathing!

Thursday night update.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Thursday, and getting ready for a fun, (chilly) weekend. 

It's very cold here in Saint Paul tonight, so I'm making  myself a hot cup of tea...though it's definitely not as beautiful as this picture I found... 

Anyway, stay warm, and if you're a college or high school student, get some sleep tonight. <3

Welcome to college.

Hey Guys!

I am having a pretty productive day today, woke up, got my ass in the shower then off to class for an hour and a half of lecturing about communication models and whatnot.
This research paper is going to be the death of me.
SPEAKING OF PAPERS, did you know that in college a B is actually ABOVE AVERAGE?? And that a C is considered completely normal?? Yeah, professors are tough, kids. I am figuring this out as I got my first ever B- on a paper and my professor told me, "well done."
Lovely.

Anyway, today is my productive days, I washed my dishes after class and picked up my regular coffee. Now I am getting some good homework done before my meeting in the writing center later.
Yeah, I scheduled an appointment with the writing center...because I am SO not used to writing research papers along with three others (of all varying types) at the same time. It's been rough, but awesome.

I kind of had a realization earlier today/last night/last week that I want to be a journalist for the rest of my life. I am seriously loving this job at the Oracle, and even though it pays less than desirable, I'm getting an in with the business which is great.

My first story comes out in the paper today!! :)

Last night I went to a meditation class and fell asleep...***EMBARRASSING**

Well, I think that about sums everything up for now. I am going to get back to my homework, go to my meeting and maybe later go swim or something. Until then, enjoy this random picture below!!
