Blonde hair don't care.
I kid you not, my hair was a much darker colour than it is now, at the beginning of the summer.
I don't quite know how I feel about it, and people keep asking me if I am dying it. NO! I never dye my hair. Ever.
It's super damaged though, and I am getting it cut next Tuesday!

UPDATE UPDATE ...Just kidding it's not that exciting ;)
Hello all!
It's time for another round of "Sofia updates her blog and no one really cares because it's all pretty useless information!!" Haha, only joking.
Today I am taking a sort of 'mental day'. I had such a busy last couple of weeks (and weekends) that I need a day just to myself! So I have taken care of a couple of emails and did some of my work stuff to get ready for SAFETY WEEK AT THE YMCA!! ..yay.. Anyway, this will be my very last week of work this summer! I am happy yet nervous at the same time, because this means college is officially right around the corner.
I. Couldn't. Be. More. Excited. You guys, this is really happening, it's all coming so fast and I just want to run all the way to Saint Paul and get it going already!
However, on sort of a sad point, it's been rough saying goodbye to all my friends. I've already mentioned this before, but I do believe I have now officially seen some of my good friends for the last time.
It has to happen, and we all knew it was coming, but it's weird.
Also, people's true colors are beginning to show. I say this because one of my really good friends, someone I have had some serious history with, has completely let me down. I used to have miles of respect for him...But like many others, he has fallen and placed me under two different categories. Has made me put up with uncomfortable situations, and acted as if he gives less than a nickle about our friendship.
I guess this was bound to happen with some people, and it's better I find out now rather than trying to put effort into making a (friend) relationship work even with the relatively little distance between our two colleges.
We all have those days where we hope the person we care about would just wake up one morning and realize all you've done for them, and how you've always been there.
Later today I have to apply for a major student loan. My dad told me it'd take me about 2 hours to completely fill out...great. :p

It will be Paradise.
Hello all!!
I am so very excited about this whole weekend. There is so much happening right now!!
I spent the whole week working about eight hour days.. but then last night I went camping with some of my really great friends! One of my best friends, Sarah Heywood, is turning 18 while in college at UNC-Chapel Hill. So we basically didn't sleep at all.. But had a blast! Eating junk food, hiking, camp fires, mud fights (from the resilient rain..)!!
Now today- after getting home at 7am, and on zero hours of sleep...I had another get together with some of my same, amazing friends and got to say goodbye to two of my best friends who are going to college down south. Again, Sarah Heywood, who is leaving on Sunday, and Erik Galloway - who is leaving on Tuesday. Erik is going to Indiana University in Bloomington. Maybe it was the lack of sleep, or the fact that these are the first two of my friends to be leaving, but I cried like a baby while saying goodbye.
I can't imagine what it'll be like later with the rest of my friends.
BACK TO THE EXCITING NEWS:
Tomorrow, at around 8am, I will be hitting the road with my best friend, a name you all know, Amber Hopfensperger on the way to the COLDPLAY MYLO XYLOTO CONCERT IN MINNEAPOLIS!!!!!
This concert will change my life. I am not joking. For the past three weeks, Amber and myself have been on a Coldplay diet, where we are not allowed to listen to the band AT ALL. I'm about to die!

Much is happening and much to come!!
Hello beautiful people!
You will not believe how crazy life is these days.
I work 8 hours a day...and when I'm not working, I'm running around...getting sent to the emergency room...house sitting...and trying to maintain a social life in the midst of it all!
So I just thought I'd drop in some new news going on now and soon to come!!
1. I GOT A NEW LAPTOP!! And it's about time, too! It's an HP envy 4 ultra book! Oh my goodness I love it so much and it is absolutely perfect!
This means I will hopefully be better at posting on this blog!
2. The Coldplay Mylo Xyloto concert (You know, the one that will change my life..) is in 10 DAYS!!!! I am sooo excited. My best friend Amber and I will be driving to Minneapolis the 11th in the morning..and be there all weekend. Can you say ROAD TRIP?? There's only one catch. We have agreed, that in order to enhance the amazingness of the concert, we won't listen to coldplay for the last two weeks up until the concert. I am going through some serious withdrawal.
3. I begin college officially on September 2nd, and I couldn't be more excited! It is such a crazy time, and I am getting all the shopping done...and the roommate situation is figured out..and next is the books! Wish me luck on amazon!

Sometimes, I like to scream.
Hey guys!
I have been sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooosoosososo busy these days. People keep asking me, "How's your summer going??" Expecting a rather happy-go-lucky response.
In return, however, I reply, "Busy as Hell."
I work every day, mostly twice a day...and I love my job...I love my job.... I just always smell like chlorine. :p Also, right now, college is about a month away. Which is pretty scary to think about considering all the things I have yet to do..
I have my graduation party this Sunday!...and to be honest I can't wait..TILL IT'S OVER. It's sooo stressful! And there's so much to do! Between me printing off glamorous pictures of my face and picking up big blue coolers I try to get some friend time in.
Today, Amber and I got up early and went to ihop for their red velvet pancakes!
I'm still trying to get my tan on in this heat. I lay out in the sun every now and then...but I get too hot and bored about 5 minutes in... So that isn't getting me too far.
Anyway, nothing else of news to share other than my continuous transition into my new and upcoming life!
So exciting, so stay tuned beautiful people and remember to keep breathing!!

Beginnings of things I won't know how to end.
Yeah, well maybe I hurt you sometimes, but let's contrast and compare. Lift up your shirt, the wound isn't there.
Someone should come here to tell you it's over. Someone should have been here to tell you it never began.
We believe every lie and say we'll be friends, but how long will it last before we scratch all the scripts and rework the cast.
It's in our nature to complicate, but in the end it's the casualties that carry all the weight.
You're going to have to start using that brain of yours to access that talent of yours to show that beautiful heart of yours.
Maybe the soul is a suitcase that holds the backup plan - A collection of keys and the patience we need To start again. Maybe it's the thresholds that swallow us whole As we learn to let go, In spite of the dirt on our clothes.
I think the finish line's a good place we could start.
Just when the ground is crumbling away From under your bare feet I'll toss you a line and pull you up Won't let you admit defeat You're radiance has never failed Has never ceased to shine I'll be there like you've been for me Until the end of time.
